Meet Casey
Hi, I’m Casey, the owner of Casey’s Creative Space. I’m a Masters-qualified Art Therapist and professionally registered with ANZACATA. I provide neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive Art Therapy across Adelaide. My services are outreach-based—meaning I can come to you wherever you feel most comfortable—and I also offer telehealth sessions for accessibility and flexibility.
I’m a fun-loving, upbeat, and patient person who enjoys balancing outdoor adventures, with quiet days spent reading, gaming or watching Netflix. I'm someone who is a great listener, values transparency, can be goofy at times and is always interested in finding out all the different way's humans exist in the world. This is a part of what makes me a great therapist and why rapport building is a strong skill of mine (even for the most nervous of clients, kiddos included!).
I’m proudly neurodivergent and live with multiple disabilities, alongside my own experiences of mental health challenges. These lived experiences give me a deep understanding and empathy that I bring into my work. At the same time, my approach is always client-centred—free of assumptions and grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for every individual.

So, what even is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy is an evidence-based form of therapy that uses creativity as a way to explore feelings, express yourself, and support your wellbeing. You don’t need to be “good at art” for it to help—Art Therapy isn’t about making something perfect, it’s about the process of creating and what that process means to you.
In a session, you might use materials like paint, pencils, clay, or collage. Sometimes the art becomes a starting point for talking, and other times the act of creating is enough on its own. Either way, it’s a safe and supportive space to slow down, reflect, and connect with yourself in new ways.
Art Therapy can be helpful for people of all ages. It can offer comfort during times of stress, give shape to feelings that are hard to put into words, and create opportunities for healing, growth, and self-discovery.
