What to expect:
Starting something new can feel a little uncertain, so I want you to know exactly what to expect when you join an Art Therapy session. Whether we meet in your space through outreach, or connect online through telehealth, you’ll always find a calm, supportive environment where you can simply be yourself and explore through creativity. There is no previous experience with art materials needed to participate in Art Therapy either!
Outreach Sessions
-
I bring along all the art materials, so you don’t need to worry about preparing anything.
-
Sessions usually run for about 45–60 minutes.
-
Together, we’ll explore creative activities such as drawing, painting, collage, or other hands-on art forms—always guided by what feels right for you.
-
You can share your artwork and reflections as much or as little as you’d like—there’s never any pressure.
Telehealth Sessions
-
We meet over a secure video call, so you can join from the comfort of your own home.
-
You can use simple materials you already have nearby, like pencils, markers, or paints.
-
Just like in-person sessions, the focus isn’t on making “good art,” but on expression, play, and connection.
In Every Session
-
There are no right or wrong ways to create—it’s all about your own process.
-
Everything you share is met with care, respect, and confidentiality.
-
My professional training allows me to gently guide and support you, helping you discover the ways art can bring healing, connection, and growth.
